The Group has its own Headquarters on Davenport Avenue in Nantwich. Unfortunately, the buildings over 50 years old and after all those years of service have now been condemned and we cannot use them for meetings.
We are in the process of raising funds for the new building. Unfortunately we’ve not yet met anyone with a spare £250K that they are willing to donate to the Group. Realistically we will need to raise £250,000- £350,000 to complete our new HQ. We have made a great start since the Pandemic, and we ask all parents, leaders, supporters, friends and family, to help as much as they can.
Hopefully this will be a question you’ll be asking yourself.
If whoever pays the Subs for each Young Person is a UK Tax Payer, then the Group can claim the tax back. Currently this is 25% on all donations. It doesn’t cost you a penny, but it is a great help to the Group and helps keeps the costs down. Please fill in the form below and pass it onto any leader.
The Group has a Fundraising Committee that organises events throughout the year. We are always on the lookout for more volunteers. If you have any ideas of events, this is the team that can make it happen. Please see a leader for details.
This can be anything from getting yourself sponsored for an activity e.g. Marathon, 10K run, sitting in a bath of beans, the list is endless. Also check with your place of employment, as quite a few have a ‘Match Funding’ scheme – the employer will give £1 for each £1 raised,
usually up to an upper limit.
The Group has signed up to Easyfundraising. Easyfundraising is a scheme where, once you are signed up, any qualifying on-line purchases will automatically generate a small donation for the Group.
